Initial situation and use case
Dear web specialists,
with this match request, we would like to find an IT service provider or an agile and reliable internet agency to competently support us in the technical maintenance and further development of our website and our online shop.
On the one hand, this concerns the maintenance of the website systems (SLA, maintenance, updates, patches, fixes) and, on the other, the implementation of continuous response development and projects. We would also like to have the hosting of our websites handled by our new partner in the future.
We are the German branch of a globally operating manufacturer and wholesaler of healthcare and medical products. Worldwide, more than 1,500 employees (150 of them in Germany) ensure a broad selection of quality products while observing sustainability and environmental protection. We sell our products indirectly via retail partners and institutions, as well as directly to customers through a prescription-only ordering shop.

In general, this is about the long-term taking over of technical services as well as individual development work for two websites (corporate website and online shop). In addition to the current requirements, we would like to optimize our digital processes in the future with the new partner and make even better use of them.
Website and web shop:
Maintenance of the WordPress and WooCommerce installations as well as updates of additional plugins
Taking over individual programming services (customizations to checkout fields, shortcodes, custom post types, custom plugins, custom CSS etc.)
Connecting our ERP system to the web shop via an API interface
Joint further development and, very gladly, proactive optimizations
Hosting and security:
Currently, our server is located in the Netherlands. With the new partner, we would like to move to a German server
Switch to SFTP and further adjustments to improve data protection and the security of our systems
